How to check if my Android device is eSIM compatible?
- Dial *#06# on your phone.
- If you see a barcode starting with EID, your device supports eSIM.
- Open Settings
- Use the search bar to find IMEI, or go to About phone > Status
- Tap IMEI information
- If you see IMEI (eSIM), your device supports eSIM
How to check if my iOS device is eSIM compatible?
- Dial *#06# on your phone.
- If you see a barcode starting with EID, your device supports eSIM.
- Go to Settings > General > About
- Scroll to Carrier Lock – it should say “No SIM restrictions” (this means your device is unlocked)
- Scroll to Available SIM
- If an IMEI is listed, your device supports eSIM
- If eSIM is already activated, the SIM IMEI will appear under eSIM
How to check if my phone is carrier-locked or not?
- Open Settings;
- Scroll down and tap on General;
- Then select About;
- If you see the No SIM Restrictions message next to Carrier Lock, then your iPhone is unlocked.
- Access Settings;
- Tap on Connections, Network & Internet (may vary depending on your phone’s model);
- Select Mobile network (or Cellular network);
- Tap on Advanced (if needed) and select Choose Network, Automatically select network, or another variant to open the list of carriers;
- If several carriers appear, the chances are that your phone is unlocked
May I use my QR code multiple times with different devices?
The eSIM QR code is unique and can only be used on the same device, it was registered the first time. If you accidentally lost or changed your device or removed the eSIM, you need to purchase a new one.
Can I use Wi-Fi calling with eSIM?
Wi-Fi calling is the ability to use the voice service over a Wi-Fi connection. eSIMs are data-only plan eSIM, and we do not provide voice service. On the other hand, we recommend using any supported VoIP app, such as Skype, WhatsApp, Telegram, etc., to make calls via an internet connection. Or TextNow, Ring4, etc. can give you a free phone number or free calling minutes to call any local number.
I removed the eSIM from my phone. How can I add it again?
Unfortunately, the eSIM QR code is unique and can be used only once. If you delete it for any reason, you need to buy a new eSIM. To install eSIM, please scan the QR code (it can be found at More Details> QR code at the Line’s managing panel in your account), set eSIM as a Primary Data Plan, and enable Data Roaming.
